Shipping, Returns & Refunds
Everything that governs an order placed on upforever.world: what you pay, when it ships, what happens if it is late, and how a refund works. It sits alongside our Terms & Privacy, which covers the rest of the Site.
00 Store status
The store is not open yet. The checkout on this Site is built and running in test mode only. It cannot take a real payment: no card is charged, no order is placed, and nothing will be shipped to you. If you reach a payment screen, you have found a test and not a shop.
Everything below is the policy that will apply the moment it opens, published in advance so it can be read before it matters rather than after.
01 Who you buy from
Orders are sold and fulfilled by [SELLER LEGAL NAME] trading as UP FOREVER™, [POSTAL ADDRESS]. Contact: orders@upforever.world.
Garments are made to order by a third-party print and fulfilment provider on our instruction. They print, pack and ship on our behalf; we are the seller and your contract is with us, so a problem with an order is ours to fix and you do not need to deal with anyone else.
02 Placing an order
A product page is an invitation to buy, not an offer we are already bound by. Your order is an offer to us. The contract is formed when we email you the confirmation with an order reference, not at the moment your card is authorised. Payment is taken in full at checkout, and if we do not accept the order we refund it in full.
We may decline an order, before or after payment, if a price or a description was published in error, if the address cannot be shipped to, if the piece cannot be produced, or if we have reasonable grounds to think the order is fraudulent. A declined order is refunded in full to the original payment method, promptly, and we email you to say so. We will never quietly substitute a different piece, size, colour or blank for the one you bought: if we cannot make what you ordered, you get the choice between a replacement and a refund, and silence from us is never treated as your consent to either.
Check your shipping address before you pay. Every piece is made to order and production is instructed automatically once payment succeeds, so an address we cannot correct in time is one we cannot re-route. Tell us the moment you spot a mistake and we will fix it if it has not shipped.
You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live, and the payment method must be yours to use. If you do not recognise a charge, email us before you file a dispute with your bank. We can usually explain or refund it the same day, and a dispute takes weeks and helps neither of us. Your card statement will read UP FOREVER, which is what it should say if it was us.
03 Price
Prices are in US dollars and are shown per piece on the product panel. The total you pay is built from:
| Line | What it is |
|---|---|
| The piece | The price shown on the product panel, per unit. |
| Standard shipping | A flat $8.00 per order, shown as its own named line at checkout before you pay. |
| Sales tax | Not added today. Massachusetts exempts clothing priced under $175 per item and every piece we sell is under that. If tax ever applies it will be calculated and shown at checkout before you pay. |
There are no other charges. No handling fee, no service fee, no processing fee, no surcharge for paying by card or by a phone wallet. The number on the final checkout screen is the number that leaves your account.
Your card statement will read UP FOREVER.
04 Shipping
Where we ship
United States only at present. The checkout will not accept an address outside the US, because a flat rate that is honest domestically is not honest internationally and we would rather not ship than quote you a number we invented.
When it ships
Every piece is made to order. Nothing sits in a box waiting; it is printed or stitched after you buy it. Orders ship within 10 business days of payment, and most ship sooner. You get a tracking number by email the day it leaves.
Transit is typically a further 3 to 5 business days within the US. Transit is the carrier's, not ours, and the estimate is an estimate.
05 If it runs late
If we cannot ship within 10 business days, we email you before that deadline passes with a revised date, and you choose: accept the new date, or cancel for a full refund of everything you paid, shipping included.
You do not have to ask, chase us, or argue for it, and you do not lose the right to cancel by waiting to see whether it turns up. If we cannot give you a firm revised date, we cancel and refund without asking you first.
Refunds on a cancelled order are issued to the original payment method promptly, and for a card payment within one billing cycle. This is the Federal Trade Commission's Mail Order Merchandise Rule (16 CFR 435.2) and it is your right, not our courtesy.
06 Returns and refunds
Made to order, so we do not accept change-of-mind returns or exchanges. Your piece is produced after you order it and it cannot be resold, so once it is in production the order is yours. Check the size before you buy.
You are always covered if something is wrong with it. See below. That part is not discretionary and we do not charge you to fix our mistake.
Cancelling before production
Email orders@upforever.world with your order reference. If it has not entered production we cancel it and refund in full, no reason needed. Production usually starts within one business day, so speed matters here.
Faulty, damaged, or not what you ordered
If a piece arrives with a printing or stitching defect, damaged in transit, or is the wrong item or the wrong size against what your order says, email us within 30 days of delivery with your order reference and a photo. We will replace it or refund it in full, your choice. We pay the return postage if we ask for the item back, and often we will not.
Never arrived
If tracking says delivered and it is not with you, or tracking has not moved for 10 business days, tell us. We will chase the carrier and, if it is lost, replace or refund it. We do not make a lost parcel your problem.
How refunds are paid
Always to the original payment method, never as store credit unless you ask for it. Card refunds are issued promptly and typically appear within 5 to 10 business days depending on your bank, and within one billing cycle at the outside. If you ever pay by a method that is not a card, the refund goes out within seven working days. Those two outer limits are the FTC's (16 CFR 435.1), not our own service target, and we do not get to extend them by being busy.
Sizing
Our garments are cut oversized and boxy on purpose. That is the design, not a fitting error, and it is why a piece feeling roomy is not a fault. Measurements are on the product panel. If you are between sizes and unsure, email us before you buy and we will tell you honestly.
07 Your data at checkout
Buying gives us information that browsing does not. This section describes only the checkout; the rest is in our Privacy Policy.
In the categories California asks us to use: buying gives us identifiers (your name and email address), customer records information (your shipping address and, if you give one, your phone number) and commercial information (what you bought). We disclose those categories to two kinds of recipient, and only for the business purpose of taking payment and getting the parcel to you: a payment processor and a print and fulfilment provider. We do not sell or share personal information in the sense the California statute uses those words, which includes not handing it to anyone for cross-context behavioural advertising.
- Payment. Card payments are processed by a third-party payment processor on its own hosted page. We never see or store your card number. We receive confirmation of payment, the amount, your email address, your shipping address and, if you give one, your phone number.
- Fulfilment. Your name, shipping address, email and phone number are passed to our print and fulfilment provider, which is the only way a parcel can reach you. They receive what is needed to make and ship the order and nothing else.
- What we keep. Order records, including your address, for as long as needed to fulfil the order, handle returns and meet tax and accounting obligations, then deleted.
- What we do not do. We do not sell your information. We do not add you to our marketing list because you bought something; joining that list is a separate, deliberate act on your part.
To see, correct or delete what we hold, email orders@upforever.world. See Your Rights.
08 Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Nothing here limits any right you have under the Federal Trade Commission's Mail Order Merchandise Rule (16 CFR Part 435), Massachusetts consumer protection law (Mass. Gen. Laws c.93A), or any other law that cannot be waived by agreement.
If something goes wrong, email us first. Most things are fixed in a day. If you believe we have committed an unfair or deceptive practice, Mass. Gen. Laws c.93A s.9(3) requires a written demand letter to be served on us at least 30 days before a lawsuit is filed, and we would far rather answer that letter than receive it a second time.
